(5) Scaredy Cat There are 223 cats at a schoolyard. 49 got scared away by a dog. 15 more got scared away by a human. 8 just left. There are two deer. How many cats are still at the school yard?
(6) Dancing Skeletons One night I was trick-or-treating all alone. As I was walking I passed a graveyard, and I saw some skeletons dancing around their graves. There were 20 graves and 4 skeletons at each grave. How many skeletons were there in all?
(7) The Graveyard As I was walking home from school I took a shortcut through the graveyard. I saw 5,432 graves. The owners were going to add 4,352 graves. How many graves would there be?
(8) The Candy Store I bought nine suckers. They cost ten cents each. How much did I spend?
(9) Joe's Fish Joe feeds his fish 2 times a day. He gives his fish 165 pieces each time. How many pieces does Joe give his fish in all, every day?
