(1) Money
If I get $4 every day for 6 days and don't spend any, how much money will I have on the 6th day?

(3) Candy
You just got back from trick-or-treating and you have 1,000 pieces of candy. You lose three hundred pieces. Your friend gives you 800 more. How many do you have in all?
 
(4) Box of Stars
I have 5 boxes of stars. Each box has 6 stars. Then I drop them. I wonder how many do I have to pick up?
 
(5) Your Cats Ran Away
If you had 800 cats on your farm and 537 ran away the first day and then 85 ran away the next day, how many cats to do you have left on your farm?
 
(6) Baby Turtles
2 turtles had 4 eggs each. One baby hatched from each egg. How many babies hatched?

There are 22 people stuck in a burning building. One firefighter rescues 7 people, and another firefighter rescues 12 people. How many people were rescued?
